“The Oracle Series”, a new exhibition of constructed drawings by Dodd faculty member Imi Hwangbo, will be shown at the Miller Yezerski Gallery in Boston from September 9-October 11, 2016.

Professor Asen Kirin Curated the exhibition, "Gifts and Prayers: The Romanovs and Their Subjects," which is the subject of a recent Huffington Post article and a symposium taking place this weekend on September 23 and 24 at the Georgia Museum of Art

Dodd Assistant Professor of Art, Jennifer Crenshaw, curates this unique exhibition that allows the viewer the rarely permitted opportunity of experienceing the artwork through the sense of touch.

Melissa Harshman, Dodd professor of art, had a two-person exhibtion at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy during August of 2016.
She also was an artist-in-residence at the Scuola for two weeks while the show was exhibited.

Associate Professor Isabelle Loring Wallace was recently featured in The Art Newspaper in an article announcing a major retrospective of Jasper Johns' work to open at the Royal Academy in September 2017. The article, entitled "Royal Academy to Stage Major Jasper Johns Retrospective," appeared on September 2, 2016.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. local time Wednesday, August 24, a magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit central Italy, causing damage and casualties in areas along the borders between the regions of Umbria, Marche and Lazio. The University of Georgia's International Residential Center in Cortona (Arezzo), located about100 miles northwest of the reported epicenter of the earthquake, was not affected by the incident. All structures and buildings in Cortona have been reported stable and secure.
