The Elements of Myth is an exhibition by Dodd graduate candidate, Kelsey Wishik, that  emphasizes the material nature of phenomena. Drawing from her extensive research in Buddhism and various indigenous shamanic practices, Wishik engages in the repetitious act of weaving, stacking, and the welding of natural materials to create reverential art objects.

In the fall of 2019, students from ARHI 4310/6310 and ARST 3315 worked in collaboration with the Georgia Museum of Art in order to create and organize a unique exhibition honoring the legacy of Rembrandt van Rign.

The 2020 University of Georgia and Augusta University Student Science and Medical Illustration Juried Exhibition includes work from the undergraduate students in Science Illustration at the University of Georgia along with work from the graduate students in Medical Illustration at Augusta University. The works represent various subjects and concepts in science and medicine that are all created for the education of the intended audience. The audience may be college students, medical professionals or the general public.

The Lamar Dodd School of Art is please to announce that four students have been included in Atlanta Photography Group (APG) for Honor Roll, a juried group exhibition supporting the work of student photographic artists attending Georgia’s colleges & universities. Students with work on view are graduate students Alec Kaus, Lauren Chappell, and Matthew Brown along with undergraduate student Alec Peyton.
