Four Students Included in APG Honor Roll | LAMAR DODD SCHOOL OF ART

The Lamar Dodd School of Art is please to announce that four students have been included in Atlanta Photography Group (APG) for Honor Roll, a juried group exhibition supporting the work of student photographic artists attending Georgia’s colleges & universities. Students with work on view are graduate students Alec Kaus, Lauren Chappell, and Matthew Brown along with undergraduate student Alec Peyton. This exhibition will be on view from Saturday, February 1, 2020 until February 22, 2020.

This exhibition was juried by Gregory Harris, High Museum - Associate Photography curator, Erin Jane Nelson, Burnaway - Executive Director, and Spalding Nix, Spalding Nix Fine Art - Gallery owner & curator. Six students are featured with a body of work of 4-10 images, and 6 additional students are featured with one image each. The students were nominated by their faculty and selected from more than 35 entries.

Established in 1987, Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is an artist-initiated nonprofit membership organization providing opportunities and support to the fine art photography community. APG hosts exhibitions throughout the year in its gallery space at the Tula Art Center. Most shows are juried by well-known photography curators, gallery owners and scholars. APG is free and open to the public, Tuesday – Saturday, 12 – 4pm or by appointment.
