The Lamar Dodd School of Art is pleased to present its annual MFA Thesis Exhibition in conjunction with the Georgia Museum of Art. Although the exhibition was originally scheduled to take place in the galleries at the GMOA, due to the Covid-19 virus, it is now a virtual exhibition, accessible here. 

The Lamar Dodd School of Art is pleased to announce that several graduate students have recently been awarded for innovative, interdisciplinary projects.  

Distance learning is providing opportunities to invite artists and designers to speak to our students virtually. The experimental design lab, C-U-B-E, has invited three prolific designers to speak to students this week. The School of Art is fortunate to have these designers in C-U-B-E, and this is an exciting opportunity to learn about their creative and contemporary design approaches and practices. 

Students who are interested in graphic design should mark the following dates and times on their calendar and join the designers!

As we navigate these unprecedented times, it has become more apparent than ever how supportive the arts community can be. Several organizations have come together recently in order to embrace the spirit of lifting each other up in the midst of uncertainty.

Lamar Dodd School of Art is excited to welcome Annika Kappenstein as a new faculty member. She will be joining the Graphic Design Area, sharing her creative and professional design work experiences in the industry, as well as her perspective for owning and operating a design firm.
