BFA Exit Exhibition

Students graduating in all areas of study will exhibit their final thesis projects in the galleries.

Every year we host an invitational exhibition at a gallery in Atlanta or New York, featuring the work of MFA students and curated by a professional in the field. This years' exhibition planned for Brooklyn's Deli Gallery was cancelled due to Covid19. The show, now moved to the Dodd Galleries, features work by MFA students Mac Balentine, Rosie Brock, Luka Carter, Clyde Conwell, Annie Simpson, and Robby Toles. The exhibition is curated by Ali Rosa-Salas.

MFA Alumni Leaves His Mark on Five Points

MFA alum Taylor Shaw recently returned to Athens to completed a 33-foot “5 Points” mural at 1739 South Lumpkin Street on the side of Barberitos restaurant, his fifth and largest to date in Athens. Shaw was commissioned for the project after company founder and CEO Downing Barber saw his work featured on the cover of Flagpole Magazine.

GMOA Artist Talk with Margaret Morrison

Join the Georgia Museum of Art via Zoom for a special program with artist and UGA art professor Margaret Morrison. The program will focus on Morrison's recent work, on view at the museum through January 17, 2021.

Artists 4 Democracy: Ruben Ochoa

The Dodd Galleries has partnered with Artists 4 Democracy to bring a series of lectures in which artists talk about their work and why they vote. The virtual lectures will start on September 16 and, after, will be held every Tuesday at 8pm up until the election.
