Opening Day: MFA These Exhibition

Join the Lamar Dodd School of Art for the annual MFA Thesis Exhibition, displaying works by students graduating with their Master of Fine Arts Degree. The exhibition entitled Whistling in the Dark will run from April 12th through May 15th. The show will premiere at the University’s newest contemporary art space, the Athenaeum, located at 287 West Broad Street.

Breakfast with Professionals: Meg Abbott

Join Jaime Bull and Brittainy Lauback as they invite art industry professionals into their Professional Practices class with Breakfast with Professionals. Lectures are open to students across the School of Art. 

These zoom based lectures are hosted by ARST4990: Professional Practices. Lectures will give students an opportunity to interact with professionals from various creative backgrounds as a way of exposing students to the variety of career possibilities relevant to their course of study.

Dodd Galleries Announces Margie E. West Prize, John Douglas Powers Exhibition

The Dodd Galleries at the Lamar Dodd School of Art is thrilled to announce the Margie E. West Prize, an annual prize given to an esteemed alumni from the Lamar Dodd School of Art, inviting the artist to create a new exhibition for the Marjorie Eichenlaub West Gallery. The inaugural recipient of the prize, John Douglas Powers, will present a site-responsive kinetic sculpture and video installation that will be on display from March 4 to April 2.
