Ushering in graduation season, the Lamar Dodd School of Art proudly presents Where the Sidewalk Ends, BFA Exit Show 2023 in the Dodd Galleries, an exhibition organized by and featuring the work of 42 graduating BFA students. This exhibition marks a milestone for studio art undergraduates completing their studies at the Dodd.

The University of Georgia presents its first Humanities Festival, a series of public events showcasing the richness and diversity of research and practice in the humanities at UGA and throughout our extended community! Enjoy over twenty events over the course of thirteen days spanning literature, history, theater, religion, environment, culture, film, etc.

Enjoy refreshments at the kick-off reception on March 15th at the Founders Memorial Garden on North Campus. All are welcome.

How can collaborations in the arts promote community understanding?
 
Join Connie Frigo, a professor of saxophone and co-founder of the Athens Hip Hop Harmonic, a partnership between UGA and the local Hip Hop community. She is an organizer of interdisciplinary arts events with a focus on the creative process, social justice advocacy, and community engagement.
