Imi Hwangbo, a professor at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, is featured in an article on the Arts Page of the Huffington Post. 

"Portals:  Interview with Imi Hwangbo" by Ridley Howard is a discussion of her three-dimensional drawings in cut paper.  Her work is currently on view at the Pavel Zoubok Gallery on West 26th Street in New York City through March 15.  Ridley Howard, a painter in New York, is an alumnus of the Lamar Dodd School of Art.

MFA students in Jewelry+Metals traveled to Munich, Germany for SCHMUCK Week from March 10-16, 2014.

SCHMUCK is special exhibition and the oldest exhibition of contemporary jewellery work in the world.

It takes place since 1959 every year during the International Trade Fair in March.

In additional to Schmuck show there was SCHMUCK-Days, over 40 pop-up satellite exhibitions scattered around Munich.

March 28-29, 2014: Emerging Scholars Symposium, The University of Georgia

The Association of Graduate Art Students (AGAS) at the University of Georgia, in partnership with the Georgia Museum of Art, presents the “While Silent, They Speak: Art and Diplomacy.” The symposium will be held in conjunction with the exhibition Art Interrupted: Advancing American Art and the Politics of Cultural Diplomacy and coincides with the exhibition’s fourth and final installation at the Georgia Museum of Art, January 25-April 20, 2014.
