Call for Art | Flight of the Fireflies Lantern Parade

Deadline: Monday, January 27 2025

The Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) Leisure Services Arts Division invites artists to submit proposals for a temporary light sculpture for display during the “Flight of the Fireflies” Lantern Parade in Dudley Park, which will take place on March 8, 2025.

The goal is to select up to four (4) sculptures for display in various sites around Dudley Park. The selected artist(s) will work with government staff to create temporary light art that enhances the participant experience during the event.

The Blue Koi Gallery continues to celebrate diversity and excellence in the visual arts on a global scale. The Koi Artist Award is our way of extending a hand to emerging and established artists. This award is open worldwide to artists 18 years and above. Accepting entries of all mediums, styles, and genres.

The KAA is Open theme (Artist’s Choice) giving the creators artistic freedom for self-expression. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists worldwide to share their talent. We’re excited to see what you’ll share/create given full creative reign.

Call for Artist | Sierra Club Georgia Chapter

The Sierra Club Georgia Chapter is the largest grassroots environmental organization in the state of Georgia, and our members and supporters are made up of more than 75,000 of your friends and neighbors. We have a robust outings program and have active committees working on forest and coastal protection, transit expansion, and clean energy. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet.

Our chapter is looking for new and creative merch ideas for 2025. Therefore, we are hosting our Sierra Club Georgia Chapter Merch Artwork Contest!

HauntFest is hosting a Halloween/horror-themed festival in Greenville, SC on December 13-15, and we are looking for student artists who might be interested in vending! There is a student discount that waives the vendor space rental fee for students for this event, so there is only the $15 application fee to apply. Way Beyond | Transdisciplinary Residency Program in Finland

Are you someone who is fascinated by the cosmos, consciousness, and the unknown? Check out this transdisciplinary program in Finland for Spring 2025!

Hosted by Way Beyond, a program driven to connect curious individuals from all backgrounds to reflect on our reality, experience, and existence. 

Applications are due on the 21st of November. To be eligible, the minimum age to apply is 25 years old and you must hold a university degree (exceptions for those with relevant experiences).
