Looking to reserve a space at the Lamar Dodd School of Art? We have a variety of options available for use by students of the School of Art and for others in the UGA community. Please read our policies thoroughly before submitting a request and email doddrents@uga.edu with any questions.

Reservations are required for all use outside of our regular building hours.

Rules for Using Space at the School of Art:

  • No one is allowed to use space without permission in order to avoid scheduling conflicts. Reservations must include set up and breakdown time.
  • Please be respectful of the noise level in the building.  No loud music until after 9:30pm.
  • No parking in the courtyard.
  • No parking behind the building by the dumpsters or next to the building.
  • No parking in the handicap zone. 
  • You are not allowed to enter rooms you haven’t reserved. 
  • Gallery hours will not be interrupted by events and any set up must not block the doors from opening fully.
  • No use of any supplies, materials or equipment unless authorized. 
  • You are to clean up after yourselves. That means if you generate trash you need to take it with you unless you want to pay fees for trash being emptied. The fee is $50 and can be paid to Facilities Maintenance Division.  
  • You are not allowed to store anything in the building.  
  • No sleeping overnight in the building.  
  • Please turn off the projectors when done.  
  • No blocking hallways or entries to other rooms.  
  • No propping doors. 
  • All student groups must have faculty mentor sign off.

Three warnings will result in losing the privilege to use any space at LDSOA.

You are welcome to use the spaces but you must respect them, return how you found them, reserve them and follow the rules set forth.

Weekdays: 6:30 am – 6:30pm
Weekends, Holidays & Game Days: CLOSED

Parking

Visitors may park in any pay lot or pay deck. All parking deck pay facilities accept credit cards.

There are two parking decks close to the Dodd: the East Campus Parking Deck and the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Parking Deck (see map).

After 4 pm, E11 and E07 surface lots adjacent to the Dodd are available for visitor parking at no charge.
