Tours of the Dodd

In lieu of in person tours, the School of Art has created a virtual tour video. New tour video coming Jan 2021.

Undergraduate Tours

In lieu of in person tours, the School of Art is creating a Virtual Tour Experience for prospective students and their families for the Spring 2021 Semester. Prospective students will be able to view an extensive virtual tour video and have a private Zoom question and answer session with a Dodd Ambassador. If you would like to be contacted when this new virtual tour opportunity is available, please email doddcomm@uga.edu.

Please note:

  • Tours of the Dodd are led by our Dodd Ambassadors, a select group of undergraduate student representatives, and depend on their availability.
  • Faculty and advisors cannot normally meet with potential students.
  • We require two weeks advanced request for tours.
  • Prospective undergraduate students are encouraged to review the Dodd's  areas of study and facilities before their visit.
  • A map of our facilities can be found here.

If our Dodd Ambassadors are not able to host any more tours at this time, please feel free to visit the school independently. Prospective students and their guests are invited to walk our halls and visit our gallery spaces any time our building is open. The best time to experience the Dodd independently is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, which are the busiest days for classes.

Graduate Tours

Throughout the fall, winter, and summer, the Graduate Office welcomes prospective students to campus by appointment. Visitors will meet with a representative from the Dodd and tour the facilities. Appointments are available most weekdays. Please contact the Dodd Graduate Studies Office to arrange a visit.

Prospective graduate students are also encouraged to contact the chair of the areas most relevant to their work. View the faculty directory by area for information about current area chairs.
