Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You

Virtual Artist Talk: August 19, 6 PM
MFA alumni Brian Hitselberger works collaboratively with artist Julie Wills.

For this exhibition, artists Maryland-based Julie Wills and Georgia/Indiana-based Brian Hitselberger will work independently in their respective studios, all the while maintaining an active dialogue through correspondence and video conferencing. The shared goal of both artists is to create new work that, when exhibited together, will exist in dialogue with one another while remaining independent: to create a conversation in which each position is honored.

Dawn Williams Boyd: Woe

Read more about Dawn Williams Boyd: Woe Log in to post comments

Dawn Williams Boyd’s "cloth paintings" sheer size adds to their larger-than-life, often brutal subject matter. Her exhibition, Woe, is a collection of works that reflect a lifelong critique of social injustices and racial violence, epic battles with misogyny, and physical and psychological abuses of power. There is no such thing as neutral history.
