The School of Art facilities are comprised of four buildings: the Main Building, the Ceramics Building, the Thomas Street Art Complex, and Broad Street Studios. These areas combined come together to form the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Ceramics Building 270 River Road Athens, GA 30602 Located across the parking lot from the Main Building, the expansive ceramics studio houses graduate ceramic studios, undergraduate studios, faculty studios, and kilns. Thomas Street Art Complex 215 Thomas Street Athens, Georgia 30602 Located within walking distance from downtown Athens, Thomas Street has a wood shop, metal fabrication shop, foundry, and jewelry studios with enameling, raising room, soldering stations, and casting facilities. All restrooms at the Thomas Street Complex are gender-inclusive. Broad Street Studios 257 West Broad Street Athens, GA 30602 Broad Street Studios comprises our highly rated Interior Design Area. This space was designed by and for the Interior Design area and functions as a self-contained design program.
