Come to the Dodd Galleries on March 1st for our Spring Exhibitions Opening!

Three new shows will be opening in the Dodd Galleries that evening - a solo show by Dodd Photography Fellow Forest Kelley entitled Michael, in which Kelley investigates the life of his late uncle and imagines the unknowable about his life as an artist and gay man in the 80s, as well as visualizes how his death still resonates with his family and community; our annual Scientific & Medical Illustration Exhibition which shows of work from the undergraduate students in Science Illustration at the University of Georgia along with work from the graduate students in Medical Illustration at Augusta University; and Cryptic for the Simple Minded, an exhibition from two Dodd MFA candidates Whitney Cleveland and Katlin Shae, who use various abstractions through paintings, sculptures, and weavings to explore themes of the metaphorical and physical quality of line, sustainability, science, and contemporary culture.
