The 2023 Lamar Dodd School of Art Spring Convocation includes: Welcome address by the Associate Dean of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences Jean Martin-Williams, Keynote address by alumna and 2021 Margie E West Prize winner Pam Longobardi (‘81, BFA), Formal calling of names on the front steps of our main building, 2023 photo book graduation gift designed with images submitted by graduates — to share your memories, follow this link We welcome students and loved ones to join us on Friday, May 12 from 11 am to 2 pm at 270 River Road! Please use this link to reserve your seats. We ask that graduates begin arriving 1 hour prior to the ceremony. Regalia will be optional. Please note that 4 guests per students will be permitted to view the ceremony in person. Additional guests will be asked to view the ceremony from within one of our first-floor auditorium spaces, wherein the ceremony will be live streamed. Loved ones can’t make it? Remote guests are welcome to view the ceremony virtually by registering through the following link. Guests will need to register in advance to receive a livestream link via email. A recording of the livestream will be made available to graduates in the week following our convocation. Graduates and their guests are invited to stay after the formal convocation. There will be light refreshments and fellowship with graduates and faculty in the atrium.   Special Accommodations If you plan to participate in the 2023 Convocation and require special assistance, please contact the Lamar Dodd School of Art at artinfo@uga.edu.   Ticket Instructions Once your tickets have been reserved, you will pick them up at our reception desk on the third floor of our main building.
