The Georgia Museum of Art is Accepting applications for the spring 2025 internship program through October 15. 

Paid internships at the Georgia Museum of Art provide students with valuable hands-on experience in the museum field. Under the guidance of museum staff, interns gain firsthand experience by assisting with various aspects of museum projects and programs. Internships are structured to provide professional experience and growth opportunities, and to give interns an understanding of the art museum as a place of research, teaching, collections management, education and outreach. 

Internships at the museum: 

• require approximately 8 to 10 hours per week
   
• are available to rising juniors, seniors and graduate students
   
• are paid student positions
   
• meet the Experiential Learning requirement at UGA
  (undergraduate internships only)
   
• are non-credit, but the student may obtain course credit through an internship course in their respective departments. 

Past museum interns have continued their careers in museums such as the Michael C. Carlos Museum, the High Museum, the Cheekwood Museum, Sotheby’s and the Dallas Museum of Art. Georgia Museum of Art internships are available both fall and spring semesters. Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
