Add to Calendar 2025-02-07 16:30:00 2025-02-09 13:30:00 2025 Art & Education for Social Justice Symposium The 2025 Art & Education for Social Justice Symposium, hosted by the Lamar Dodd School of Art and UGA School of Social work, will occur from February 7 - 9, 2025. Join us in this three-day experience learning about the role of art in social justice, education, and connecting with artists and community members. The symposium is aimed to provide a platform for voices interested in how art and education promote social change.  The symposium will consist of a keynote lecture at the Athenaeum by speaker Steve Lambert, the co-founder and co-director of the Center for Artistic Activism, following that will consist of breakout sessions with presenting artists at the Dodd and Georgia Museum of Art. For more specific program details, click here. Registration is required to attend this event. Prices vary depending on what ticket you will purchase. Student tickets are priced at $35. Purchase of tickets onsite will be provided at the symposium.  Everyone is welcome to participate. We hope to see you next weekend!
