Join us for our Art History Faculty Lecture Series. Professor Asen Kirin presents “Ukrainian Painting Exhibition” on February 25th. This lecture will take place at the Lamar Dodd School of Art in room N100 at 5:30 pm. 

Speaker Bio

Asen Kirin is a professor of art history at the Lamar Dodd School of Art. His research focus lies in changing perceptions of Byzantine art and differences within European and American interaction with ancient and medieval cultural heritage. Kirin holds an MA from Vanderbilt and a PhD from Princeton University. He teaches courses in Late Antique, Byzantine and Russian art and architecture.
