Kristen is an MA candidate in art history with an interest in nineteenth century textiles. She will be working with the Pacific North West Quilt and Fiber Arts museum to create a digital textile exhibition for her capstone research. She received her BS in Anthropology with a minor in art, and an archaeology emphasis from the University of Idaho in 2022. This past summer, 2024, she was the European Curatorial Intern at the Georgia Museum of Art. Previously, Kristen has worked as an Archaeological Lab Technician for the University of Idaho Historic Archaeology Department, where she helped document and digitize artifacts from Fort Boise, Fort Sherman and the Brink Hall Campus archaeology project. She will combine all of these interests into a study of material culture and art history.
