Lacy Hamilton is a second-year MA student who studies American and twentieth-century modernist art and with a focus in American Modernism. Her current research interests include the relationship between dance, music, and the urge to abstraction as well as archival preservation of materials of various documentary forms, including photographs, ephemera, and oral history recordings. She completed her BA in Art History at the University of Georgia in 2020. Lacy has experience with museum registration and collections management, art preservation, archival processing and collections management, and exhibition curation through her work at the Georgia Museum of Art, Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies, and Georgia Newspaper Project.
