Open to artists aged 21+, we welcome an intergenerational experience. With guidance from eight esteemed mentors, we intentionally break apart the traditional methods that silo disciplines from each other and instead embrace a full range of studio and pragmatic studies including professional development for artists, the art of pedagogy, writing in the 21st century, archiving and the relevance of art history today. Chautauqua Schools of Performing and Visual Arts are monitoring the continually changing nature of the COVID-19 virus very closely and taking the appropriate precautions. At this time we are hopeful for an on grounds five week experience at Chautauqua; however the plan is not yet complete or approved by Institution leadership. We are also planning alternate scenarios in the event that we cannot hold our programming in person. Any modifications will be based on public health recommendations and will prioritize the health and safety of our students, audience, artists, staff, and wider community. In order to provide the safest environment in our facilities, we will offer a 5 week residential program which will include both on-line and in-person components. We will provide single occupancy rooms in our residence halls for accepted participants into our residency program. APPLY HERE   Zoom LAMAR DODD SCHOOL OF ART doddcomm@uga.edu America/New_York public
