Paula Reynaldi, a current graduate student with the Art Education department has been included in 4th installment of MOCA GA’s the biennial exhibition Gathered IV: Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists and awarded a Juror’s Prize.

Esteemed jurors Kevin Cole, Mario Petrirena, and Lisa Tuttle have selected artists for this year’s Gathered exhibition at the the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) in order to showcase the breadth and diversity of Georgia talent from a variety of mediums.  This year, Gathered IV features 47 works of art by 38 Georgia artists, selected from over 330 submissions and representing 12 cities and 9 counties across the state of Georgia. MOCA GA’s collect’s and archives significant, contemporary works by the artists of the state of Georgia. To place their artists in a global context, the Museum’s exhibitions include Georgia artists and artists from around the world. Their programs promote the visual arts by creating a forum for active interchange between artists and the community.

Paula Reynaldi was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and studied Cello and Music Education. In 2002 she moved to Iowa City in the United States, where she continued her music studies and started taking courses in visual arts. She has lived in Athens, GA, since 2006, where she studied sculpture at the University of Georgia.
