McClellan Included in Exhibition at SculptureCenter in New York

Visiting Assistant Professor Courtney McClellan will have work included in the upcoming exhibition, In Practice: Another Echo, at SculptureCenter in Long Island City, New York. The exhibition will open January 28, 2018 and will be on view through April. In Practice provides new ways to discover the most innovative artwork, foster experimentation, and give participants the opportunity to develop and present new work. SculptureCenter is a not-for-profit arts institution dedicated to experimental and innovative developments in contemporary sculpture. McClellan will exhibit a new video that examines the insidious relationship between performance and the law, through her ongoing study of the American Mock Trial Association team at UGA.

The exhibition also features works by Elena Ailes & Simon Belleau, Nobutaka Aozaki, Cudelice Brazelton, Priyanka Dasgupta & Chad Marshall, Carey Denniston, Jules Gimbrone, Baseera Khan, Juliana Cerqueira Leite, Jon Wang, Carmen Winant, and Lachell Workman and is curated by Allie Tepper, SculptureCenter's 2018 Curatorial Fellow.
