Curator Ciel Rodriguez will be hosting a short gallery talk with visiting artists Jacob Goble and Hope Wang to discuss their art practices in conjunction with their group exhibition Soft Architecture on display in the Suite Gallery. Immediately following Soft Architecture’s short gallery talk, exhibiting artist Hope Wang will be offering a bookmaking workshop. This workshop will introduce participants to the never-ending, infinity book structure that Wang explores in her art practice. Attendees will explore how collage and book-making exercises can generate new forms of content.

Considering the sketch, how does a sketch become multiple different forms? How can we intercept the sketch when applying interaction, framing, and function?

Through this workshop we will exploring how this particular book structure allows artists and bookmakers the ability to play with giving the viewer control of how they see and interact our work.
