ThinkTank2 was held at UGA May 22-24, 2007. Approximately 30 invited participants from the fields of Foundation Studies and Art Education  discussed innovative changes to the Foundation sequence in college and university visual art programs. The goal of ThinkTank is to produce practical recommendations for making Foundation programs stronger.

Tuesday May 22

  • 6 - 7 pm Room 116 Visual Arts Building, Opening Public Lecture and Exhibition
    Opening by ThinkTank participant Martha MacLeish, Indiana University
  • Reception to follow at Broad Street Gallery


Wednesday, May 23

  • 8:30 am - 4:30 ThinkTank started at the Georgia Center
    Special break out groups: Critical Theory; Critical Thinking; Criticism/Critique
  • 6:00 PM Reception for ThinkTank particpants at Ciné, 234 W. Hancock Street.


Thursday, May 24

  • 8:30 am - 4:00 ThinkTank resumes at the Georgia Center.
