The Office of Undergraduate Advising for the Lamar Dodd School of Art is located in room N300. The Academic Advisor for the Lamar Dodd School of Art can be contacted at

Advising Coordinator Associate Director Jon Swindler has open office hours on Mondays from 10:00am–1:00pm in room C301M.

Walk-in hours for academic advisors are Thursdays from 2:00pm–4:00 pm.

Fall 2017 Classes Available to Studio Art Minors (pdf) (prereqs. do apply). If students have questions, please contact the Art Advising Office.

Who is your Art Advisor?

If your major is:

— BFA Intended Art or BFA Art, please visit the SAGE website to make an advising appointment.

— BFA Art and you have already been accepted to an area of emphasis, you will be advised by Michelle Egas or Debbie Montgomery and your area chair.

— Intended Art History, visit the SAGE website to sign up for an advising appointment. You will be advised in Room N333 by Dr. Sarah Crain until the semester you are enrolled in (2) two 3000-level Art History courses. At that point, you will see the Debbie Montgomery and the Area Chair of Art History for advising.

— Art History major and have already been advised but would like to have more general art history questions answered, contact the Area Chair of Art History, Nicolas Morrissey
