Scholarships open for the 2026-2027 academic year

The Lamar Dodd School of Art is thrilled to announce that scholarship applications are now open for the 2026-2027 academic year. In 2025, the School of Art awarded approximately $70,000 in merit, departmental, study abroad, and graduate scholarships, with an average range of $500 - $2,000 per award!

MA student Grace Burns won the 2025 Günther Stamm Prize for her paper "Masking the Bacchic Floor: Materiality and Theatrically in the Cummer Mask Mosaic" at Florida State University. This award, honoring a founding professor of Art History at FSU, goes to one student every year selected by the faculty based on originality and presentation.

Collaborative ‘Cupola’ project blends art, engineering, and music in mobile spectacle

Last summer, the Lyndon House Arts Center played host to an exhibition led by Martijn van Wagtendonk, an associate professor in the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art.
