Inter–Print, the latest exhibition at the C-U-B-E gallery for design at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, explores the evolving relationship between the web and print, highlighting experimental form-making, process-driven design, and the often-overlooked behind-the-scenes aspects of graphic design practice. Rather than showcasing finalized works, Inter–Print frames graphic design as an active, evolving discipline—one that prioritizes exploration, iteration, and redefinition.

At its core, Inter–Print is an inquiry into web and print publishing within graphic design. The exhibition, coordinated by Associate Professor of Graphic Design Moon Jang, examines how digital and physical formats intersect, influence one another, and open up new creative possibilities. Through collaboration and production, Inter–Print seeks to expand the definition of graphic design beyond surface aesthetics, inviting deeper engagement with the tools, technologies, and collective efforts that shape the field today.

More than a showcase of printed artifacts, Inter–Print cultivates an inclusive, community-driven space that highlights the collaborative and iterative nature of graphic design. By making behind-the-scenes moments visible, the exhibition invites viewers to reconsider the role of experimentation, process, and shared knowledge in shaping contemporary graphic design.

The exhibition will be on view through the end of April 2025.
