Primary Information is a New York-based non-profit organization that was founded in 2006 to publish affordable artists’ books and writings. Their focus is on the conceptual practice of using publications as a distributable exhibition space that seeks to reach a global audience. Accessibility and affordability are paramount to their mission. In this self-titled exhibition, Primary Information’s founders will share works from their catalog and archive, including reprinted editions of 20th century works that remain vital to ongoing conversations around artistic practice and contemporary works by living artists. The exhibition is curated by Dodd Art Librarian, Lindsey Reynolds.
