Move over big apple, the peaches are back in town! The exhibition Peaches in the Apple, taking place during the fifth annual New York City Jewelry Week from November 14 – November 20, 2022, will highlight student and faculty work from the jewelry and metalwork program at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
Exhibition Statement
The relationship to the body is essential when thinking about jewelry. Jewelry has the ability to decorate and to extend and build from the body, which can be challenging and demanding. It’s a collaboration of sorts—asking the wearer to perhaps reinvent their world to accommodate this work.
