Graphic design students, accompanied by Associate Professor Moon Jung Jang, attended AIGA Atlanta’s 9th Annual Student Pin-Up Show on October 20 at Matchstic in Atlanta. AIGA is the professional association for design and the Atlanta chapter is one of the largest and most active chapters in the U.S. Dodd graphic design students and recent graduates received accolades for their work, including spring 2018 graduate Daniel Easley, who won a Judge’s Choice Award in the illustration category for his senior capstone project, the Drowsy Diary, completed last spring in his ARGD 4110 Senior Project course.

Posters and illustrations designed by current students Charlie Vu, Annie Lian, Ashleigh Gehman, and Kevin Schoenblum were also selected from the displayed work to be included in an upcoming exhibition at Binders Gallery at Ponce City Market. This event was a valuable opportunity for graphic design students to engage with AIGA Atlanta and to present their work to practitioners in the Altanta design community.
