Glenna Jennings will give a Studio Art Core lecture focused on working to deepen understandings of context and narrative structures. Click here to learn more about her lecture at the Dod. 

Jennings is an Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Dayton, Ohio. Her work includes photography, curating and socially-engaged art. She holds BAs in English and Spanish (Pepperdine), and a BFA in Photography (Art Center College of Design). She completed her MFA in Visual Arts at the University of California San Diego in 2010. Jennings has exhibited throughout the US, Mexico, Europe and China, and was included in the 2010 California Biennial. Recognition of her work includes an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award and a Peter McGrath Human Rights Fellowship. Her work resides within the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, AMNUA Museum, China and multiple private collections. Jennings is a passionate educator whose teaching, research and service inform her dynamic practice.
