Several Graduate Students at the Lamar Dodd School of Art recently earned Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards for 2019 from UGA. Graduate students Diane Lee (Art Ed), William Major (Studio Art), and Amber Pitt (Art Ed) were honored for their outstanding performance in their teaching responsibilities.

As recipients of the 2019 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award, they will be recognized in the Honors Day and Commencement programs and have certificates presented to them. This recognition documents the fact that their teaching performance ranks in the top ten percent of all Teaching Assistants serving the University of Georgia.

The Center for Teaching and Learning administers the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award, sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Instruction. This award recognizes teaching assistants who demonstrated superior teaching skills while serving as an instructor of the classroom or laboratory.

Congratulations to these graduate teaching assistants on their excellent work!
