Research Focus
My practice explores how language, materiality, information, and systems of categorization shape our understanding of identity and place. Through archival and architectural forms, I investigate boundaries and borders that influence our perception of ourselves and our world, examining spaces between transparency and concealment, preservation and loss.
Central to my work is an investigation of containers and compartments. These works explore how organizational structures mediate our experience of information and memory and the interplay between opacity and revelation. My methodology connects personal archives, institutional repositories, and digital networks to understand how knowledge production shapes ways we inhabit culture and form connections with each other.
