Hannah Reynoso Toussaint is a queer metalsmith and craft artist originally from the cornfields of northern Illinois. She studied material construction through theatrical costume design as an undergraduate at the University of New Orleans and completed a year-long post-baccalaureate program in Metalsmithing and Jewelry at the University of North Texas.
Hannah was a recipient of the Educational Endowment Scholarship in 2022 awarded by the Society of North American Goldsmiths and has exhibited work nationally with New York City Jewelry Week, The Metal Museum, and the Society of North American Goldsmiths.
Research Detail
Hannah’s work addresses queerness, mental health, and loss or mourning through material exploration and historical research.
