Francesca Felicella received her MA in Art History at the Lamar Dodd School of Art in 2022 where she completed her thesis under the direction of Dr. Nell Andrew. Her MA thesis, entitled “Displaced Movement: Body & Image in the Holographic Works of Simone Forti” examined the artist’s use of holography to construct a conditional interaction between image and viewer that is activated through movement. Throughout her studies, Felicella’s research focused on modern and contemporary art with an emphasis on photography, video, film, performance, and dance. While completing her MA, she also received a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management where she studied grant writing, fundraising, and development for nonprofit organizations. After graduating, Felicella relocated to New York City where she began her new role as Development Associate for Institutional Giving at the Jewish Museum
