Smarthistory: the center for Public Art History is looking for a part-time video producer with a strong background in art history, archaeology, history, or a related discipline. 

The ideal candidate will be have experience with:

  • using a Mac
  • editing photography using Photoshop or a similar program
  • using Garageband or Audacity (or a similar program) to edit audio
  • using Screenflow, Camtasia, or a similar program to produce video 
  • image research
  • using remote communication software like Slack, Zoom, and Google suite 
  • Smarthistory uses consumer-level software (specifically Garageband and Screenflow) to create videos from still images and an audio file. 

The video producer will work remotely, approximately 10–15 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible. Graduate students are especially encouraged to apply. Hourly salary will be commensurate with experience.
