Internship at StartInvest:
At StartInvest, you will join our team of graphic designers and video editors to gain hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing. Your hands-on experience will help you toward your short-term and long-term career goals by giving you the opportunity to learn and practice in an applied setting. The learning and practice challenges will strengthen your problem-solving capabilities along with teamwork skills.
-Perform hands-on video editing and graphic design, including design graphical content from scratch, video editing, trying various concepts, getting feedback and applying in ongoing sprints
-Work closely with other designers and editors to implement innovative solutions
The ideal candidate has a graphic design and video editing background, and has experience in creating engaging social media content and marketing campaign assets, is passionate about design and branding, and is solution-oriented and can explain and speak to their creative rationale with open-mindedness.
Qualifications
BS or MS degree in Graphic Design, Arts, Video Editing or equivalent 2+ years of work experience
Experience working with Photoshop
Strong background with Premiere Pro
Preferred: Experience working with Figma
Experience designing for social media platforms, establishing and evolving design systems, creating presentation decks, templates, and layouts
Demonstrable competence across multiple mediums i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Google Slides
Links to portfolio or content you’ve produced in the past
