Drawing and painting professor Margaret Morrison is featured in "Picture This," the latest iteration in a series of traveling exhibitions titled "Highlighting Contemporary Art in Georgia."
In commemoration and recognition of Juneteenth, the School of Art is revisiting the Linnentown Quilt Project, "spearheaded in spring 2021 by University of Georgia art education graduate students Meghan Holcomb, Sarah Livant, and Gabriella Victorio to spread awareness about Linnentown".
The blending of art and nature on the dress represent how Reddish is also combining aspects of their dual major at UGA: parks, recreation and tourism management at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources and interdisciplinary art at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
Those Gentle Waves of Pay Dirt, by Alumnus Jess Machacek and Assistant Professor James A. Enos, is the culmination of an artist research project supported by The Columbus State University Visiting Artist + Scholars Residency Program.
