Congratulations go to Lamar Dodd School of Art, Art History Professor Janice Simon as she has been recognized as one of ten University of Georgia Professors as 'Outstanding Professor' at UGA.

The Professor Recognition Ceremony seeks to recognize the top professors from across campus based solely on a student submitted nomination process. Students were encouraged to nominate a professor that they felt has greatly enriched their academic experience during their time at UGA. After reviewing and scoring all nominations, the selection committee chose the top 10 professors. This recognition for Professor Simon will be her seventh teaching recognition in her 25 years at UGA.
