Save the date! The Lamar Dodd School of Art will celebrate the graduating class of 2025 with a ceremony at the UGA Performing Arts Center on May 9, 2025 at 10 am (doors open at 9:15 am) followed by a reception at our main building on east campus.

The 2025 Lamar Dodd School of Art Spring Graduation Ceremony includes:

  • Welcome address

  • Keynote address by Rachel Debuque, MFA ’13, University of Arkansas School of Art, Director

  • Formal calling of names

  • 2025 photo book graduation gift designed with images submitted by graduates — to share your memories and artworks, follow this link!

  • A reception after the ceremony at our Main Building on 270 River Road until 1 PM

We welcome students and loved ones to join us! Please use this link to reserve your seats before April 18, 2025. We ask that graduates begin arriving 1 hour prior to the ceremony. Regalia will be optional.

Graduates and their guests are invited to stay after the formal ceremony. There will be light refreshments and fellowship with graduates and faculty in the Main Building Atrium.

Have photos of events, artwork, or just around the Dodd? This year’s graduation gift will be a photo book featuring student submissions of memories at the Dodd. The Dodd graduation photo book will be distributed during the school’s graduation ceremony on May 9 to students (Master’s and PhD included) graduating in spring or summer 2025 or who have graduated in fall 2024.
