Spend three weeks in New York City this May and earn 6 credit hours in art history and studio art & design while exploring studios, galleries, museums, and the contemporary art and design world of NYC. Mornings are spent in an art history course—often in museums—and afternoons are spent in a smaller seminar course focused on design and contemporary art. Under the direction of UGA faculty, students will have the opportunity to visit working artists, curators, designers, non-profit spaces and businesses integral to the practice of contemporary art and design.
