Katharine Miele

Katharine Miele is a contemporary embroidery artist and oil painter living in Athens, GA. She completed her MFA at the University of Georgia in 2021. She is originally from Atlanta, GA. She received her BFA from Georgia State University, and won the Mary Brock Williams Atlanta Artist Center Scholarship award. Katharine has exhibited her work all over the country (including places she’s never been like Seattle and Boulder), and atttended a residency at the Vermont studio center in the summer of 2018.
