John Powers is currently Associate Professor of Sculpture at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He was awarded a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship in 2016 which allowed Powers to take a year off from teaching to work in the studio. Powers studied Art History as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University.
