Johanna Norry is a textile artist who lives and maintains a studio in Avondale Estates, Georgia, and is a full-time lecturer in Textile Design and Weaving at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. She received her BFA in Textiles from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, and her BA in Anthropology and Writing at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.  Her work most recently appeared in the group show Castaways: Art from the Material World at the Bateman Gallery of Nature in Victoria, British Columbia.
