Holly Bostick Miller graduated with her MA specializing in Ancient Art and Architecture. She received her BA in Art History from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2015 where curatorial and archaeological field experience and studying abroad in Greece spurred interest for her current research. With the support of the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Holly has travelled twice to Memphis, Tennessee to conduct archival research essential to her MA thesis titled “An Unpublished Greek ‘Grave’ Relief in The Brooks Museum: Contextualizing Banquet Scenes within the Votive and Funerary Landscapes of Late Classical Attica.” In addition, she was accepted to Florida State University’s 37th Annual Art History Graduate Symposium and the American School of Classical Studies in Athens Summer Session 2020. Holly was the President of UGA’s Association of Graduate Art Students. She plans on pursuing a PhD in Bronze Age Aegean Art and Archaeology after completing her MA in the spring 2020.
