David Campo III is interested in analyzing the history of art collecting and management, and he is interested in investigating how art serves as a form of material culture and is studied within the context of the museum. He received his undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Florida where he worked for 2 years in archaeological labs under collections management, later doing similar work as it related to the field of art and art history. He was accepted into a Registration internship at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainesville, FL before attending the University of Georgia. During his graduate studies he was accepted into two Registration internships at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, FL, during the summer of 2019, and at the Georgia Museum of Art, here in Athens, GA, during his final semester. David will be joining the MA program in Museum Studies at the University of Florida, following his graduation in Spring 2020.
