Ambassadors assist at School or University sponsored events and are available to speak on topics related to the Art school before groups, schools, clubs, assemblies, banquets or similar events. The Association of Graduate Art Students (AGAS)
The Association of Graduate Art Students is composed of graduate students from the Art History program. AGAS is a departmental, student-run organization that sponsors a series of lectures throughout the academic year pertinent to our fields of interest and study. The scholars are chosen by AGAS members, ranging from academic nominations to curators in the field. The AGAS lectures provide students with an opportunity to build their network and converse with experts in the discipline.

The Black Artists Alliance (BAA)
The Black Artists Alliance is a group mostly composed of Black visual artists based at the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Along with the support and guidance of the School of Art’s Solidarity and Justice Committee we are committed to creating more opportunities and visibility for Black artists and students. Our mission is to amplify the voices of Black artists and scholars by helping create more opportunities for interaction and exchange with students at the School of Art. Benefitting not only students of color but the entire community at large.

Art History Society
The Art History Society is an interest-based student organization directed towards and led by students who share an appreciation for art history. AHS values art of all forms and origins and strives to highlight the interdisciplinary nature of art history. Students, regardless of major, are welcome to join. We host semi-monthly topic meetings, gallery visits, art film screenings, and guest speakers. These events give members opportunities to speak on their own research and to practice their academic and oratorical skills in an informal, non-judgmental space.

The Ceramic Student Organization is a group aiming to support graduate and undergraduate students within the ceramics department. As a student-led organization, CSO runs the annual Ceramics sales and sponsors multiple visiting artists and events throughout the year. These events promote ceramics within the University while providing opportunities for students to learn from renowned artists in their field.
