Haley is currently the Studio Technician for the Thomas Street Art Complex, Ceramics, and Interior Design. Haley graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2017 with a BA in Studio Art focusing in ceramics. Since graduating she has worked in various studio settings ranging from production and management to university operations within visual arts. She now fills the position of Sculpture Studio Support at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
Collaborates with Associate Director of Space and Technology and the Art Studio Manager to maintain equipment, technology and spaces in all of the 3D art facilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, tools, and machines throughout the School
Interface with UGA Environmental Safety Division and instructors to implement proper hazardous waste collection and disposal
Participate in efforts to improvement equipment and technology and maintain safe working spaces
Work with graduate students and lab monitors to insure proper functioning and maintenance of all 3D art spaces
