Overview

The Artist-in-Residence Program at the Wild Basin Creative Research Center offers professional writers,
composers, and visual artists the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded
by the preserve’s inspiring landscape. The selected artist will be given the title Artist-in-Residence, use
of office space in our main building, and access to the preserve over a 3-month period. Artists-in
Residence will have their bio and program description on the Wild Basin Creative Research Center
website. The Artist-in-Residence’s work during their time at Wild Basin is supported through a stipend
of $600 paid at the end of the residency and a budget of $500 that is used toward the purchase of
materials necessary to create and display their art and workshop offerings.
